Higher Ground Cafe – Classic Calgary cafe, it’s licensed as well. Try a tea misto and try to get a window seat. One of the few cafes open late in town. Open mic on Tuesday

The Roasterie – They roast their own beans and in the summer you can order from the window. The wee plaza in front of it is always a good hang out spot

Crave Cupcakes – Local Calgary business, they sell fancy cupcakes. Their cookies are also really quite good.

CHUNK’D Cookies – it’s a NZ chain. They have giant $6 gourmet cookies.

Alforno Bakery & Cafe – Nice cafe pretty close to the river pathway

River Café – Fancy cafe in the park. Grab a spot on the patio!

Made By Marcus- Hillhurst – Local YYC company. Try one of their weird flavours!

Village Ice Cream – I love this Village ice cream ’cause it’s kind of hidden away so you have to know it’s there to go to it, fun little back street adventure

Yann Haute Patisserie – Fancy bakery with lots of super yummy treats!
